Driver Escapes After Tulsa County OHP Chase

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Tulsa County deputies are looking a driver who ran after a trooper tried to stop a car in west Tulsa overnight.

The chase began near 41st and Elwood at 12:30 a.m.

The OHP said speeds reached 90 mph. Troopers lost sight of the Infiniti sedan. A short time later deputies found it abandoned in Chandler Park on West 21st Street after spotting a broken gate at the entrance.

Troopers and deputies searched the park but found no one. A search of the car turned up a cell phone and syringes
