Man Shot In Head, Crashes Car Into Tulsa Apartment

Police searched for the person who shot a man causing him to crash a car into a Tulsa apartment early Friday. 

Officers said the shooting and crash happened at the Plaza Hills apartments in the 13000 block of East 16th Street near 129th East Avenue at about 2:30 a.m.

Police said the victim struck an occupied apartment after he was shot in the head and shoulder from behind. 

A family of three in the apartment, including a 10-month-old baby, escaped injury. 

EMSA took the driver to the hospital. Police say he is expected to survive. 

The victim did not know who shot him or why. Police recovered multiple shell casings in a nearby parking lot.
