ME Identifies Body Found On Muskogee County Road

The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner has identified the man whose body was found on a road in Muskogee County Tuesday night.

The medical examiner says the victim was Robert John Guenther, 26. According to the ME, the death was a homicide as the cause was five gunshot wounds.

Guenther's body was found on the night of May 19, 2015 near 44th Street and Harris Road, according to Muskogee County Sheriff Charles Pearson.

The sheriff's office is still investigating.
