OHP Searches For Driver After West Tulsa County Pickup Crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver of a pickup apparently ran away after crashing into a tree near Sapulpa early Friday. 

Troopers said the crash happened in the 8000 block of West 61st Street South north of Sapulpa just before 2 a.m. 

The OHP said the Ford F-150 pickup was headed east when it went off the road and hit a tree. When troopers and the Sapulpa Fire Department got the crash, no driver was found.

OHP says a check with area hospitals turned up no crash victim.
