Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies and police officers gathered Tuesday morning to remember law officers who died in the line of duty.
The annual Law Enforcement Memorial service took place at the memorial at Tulsa County's Chandler Park. The Tulsa Fraternal Order of Police and the Sheriff's Office honored 12 deputies who gave their lives while protecting the citizens of Tulsa County.
The deaths date back to 1909.
During the service there were remarks from Oklahoma Lt. Governor Todd Lamb, the playing of bagpipes, posting of the colors and the playing of taps.
