Washed out roads are causing headaches for Creek County after heavy rainfall in Oklahoma.

During Monday morning's Board of Commissioners meeting, an emergency declaration was made due to significant damage from flooding in Creek County.

Several asphalt, gravel and dirt roads have been washed out, authorities say. Commissioner Rick Stewart says the declaration was made in hopes of getting state or federal funding to help with repairs.

Commissioners spent the day looking at the damage. In some spots, entire sections of roads are gone.
