Tulsa House Fire Blamed On Wind

Firefighters say a tree knocked down a power line sparking a fire which damaged a Tulsa home early Thursday.

Firefighters say a tree knocked down a power line sparking a fire at a Tulsa house overnight.

The Tulsa Fire Department was called to the home near 56th Place and South Urbana just before 2 a.m. to find smoke and flames coming from the home's roof.

They said the wind knocked a tree limb into a power lines which fell onto the home starting the fire.

They said two people were in the home at the time and were able to get out safely. Damage to the home was contained to the roof and the attic.
