Retired McAlester Officer Arrested For Sexually Assaulting 3 Year Old

A Pittsburg County judge set a $50,000 bond Wednesday for a retired McAlester police lieutenant accused of sexually assaulting a three-year-old.

Deputies booked Martin Stites into jail Tuesday on complaints of lewd molestation and rape by instrumentation.

McAlester's police chief said Stites retired from the department in November 2011, after 22-years of service.
