Police arrested a man after they say he robbed a Tulsa pharmacy Wednesday evening.

Officers were sent to the Walgreens at Pine and Sheridan just before 7 p.m. A clerk told police a man wearing a red jacket entered the store, implied he had a gun and wanted money from the register or he would shoot.

After getting the cash, the man ran north from the store.

Police said officers began a search of the neighborhood and found John Fields, 26, walking on North Norwood, several blocks from the store.

After a witness identified Fields as the robber, he was booked into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of robbery by force and fear.

Jail records show Fields is being held on a $100,000 bond pending a May 6 court appearance.
