A Hartshorne police officer was arrested after an investigation into allegations of wrongful acts was conducted by the District 18 Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force.
Wednesday a news releases says the investigation centered on Officer Michael Kirkland and allegations that he received a sexual favor in return for leniency.
The release says the task force believed they had enough information to show that on March 21, 2015, Kirkland received a bribe of oral sodomy.
Task Force Agents arrested Kirkland and booked him into the Pittsburg County Criminal Justice Center on April 28 on a $10,000 bond.
Agents are trying to discover if there are any other victims and ask anyone with information to call 918-423-1324.
