The World of Outlaws will return to Oklahoma this Friday at the Salina Highbanks Speedway in Pryor.
Over the years, the series has visited six different tracks in Oklahoma, varying from sprawling half-miles to tight quarter-mile bullring.
The event will feature some local talent, including those listed below.
Shane Stewart (Bixby native)
-second in points
-holds two wins
-driving for NASCAR star Kyle Larson's team
Daryn Pittman (Owasso Native)
-2013 series champion
-two wins this season for Kasey Kahne Racing
Note: Pittman recently broke his collarbone and cracked some ribs and only missed two races.
Brady Bacon (Broken Arrow native)
-reigning USAC National Sprint Car Series champion
Other talents include: Christopher Bell from Norman, who is a Kyle Busch Motorsport development driver and one of the hottest commodities in all of racing, as well as Rico Abreu, who won the Chili Bowl in Tulsa back in January. Abreu already has two World of Outlaws wins this season, and has been racing in the NASCAR K&N East Series.
