A Cameron man was killed in a head-on collision Friday, April 17, on State Highway 112 in LeFlore County. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the fatality wreck took place at 8:01 a.m. about 3 miles north of Poteau.
Troopers say Jeremy Don Davis of Heavener crossed left of center, hitting on oncoming car. The driver of that car, Brian Allan Stroud, was pronounced dead at the scene from massive injuries. Stroud, 53, was a Cameron resident, a collision report states.
Davis reportedly refused treatment at the scene for arm and other injuries.
Troopers say Davis, 20, was in apparently normal condition before the wreck. The Poteau Fire Department assisted OHP.
