Shots Fired During East Tulsa Armed Robbery

Police used their helicopter and police dogs to look for two men who committed an armed robbery at an east Tulsa apartment complex late Wednesday.

Police used their helicopter and police dogs to look for two men who committed an armed robbery at an east Tulsa apartment complex late Wednesday. Officers responded to the robbery at the Bradford Townhomes in the 2100 block of South 109th East Avenue at 10:45 p.m.

Police said the victims told officers they had been robbed of their money and cell phones. They said when some bystanders chased the pair, one of the men fired two shots at their pursuers.

The pair were described as between 20 and 25 years of age. One wore a red shirt and black shorts and the other wore a black shirt and khaki shorts. One was armed with a semi automatic pistol.

Police said no one was injured in the robbery.
