Tulsa Garden Center Holds Springfest Market And Festival

The Tulsa Garden Center is hosting Springfest Garden Market and Festival from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 10-11.

More than 60 vendors will have plants and other gardening-related items on sale. The festival is not just about making purchases - there's lots of information available to sharpen your own gardening skills.

"A lot of our plant vendors are the actual growers, so if you have a question, someone here will have an answer," said Mary Lou Havener, Springfest chairwoman.

The festival is set up on the grounds of the Tulsa Garden Center at 2435 South Peoria, just south of Woodward Park.

There's also a Kidzone with free entertainment for the kids including projects they can take home.

A new feature this year - you can rent a segway for $20 to tour the area.
