News On 6 WARN Team is monitoring the chance of a few storms in south east Oklahoma. Some may come with large hail.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 10 p.m. for several Oklahoma counties along and south of Interstate 40.

Meteorologist Mike Grogan says it's a low-end threat, but the storms that do form could have large hail and isolated wind gusts up to 70 mph. Areas from McAlester to Poteau have the best chance of seeing the severe weather.
There's a slightly better chance that storms may develop closer to the Tulsa metro Wednesday, and again on Thursday as a cold front moves into northeastern Oklahoma.
