The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a metal strip in the outside lane of southbound Highway 75 just north of Tulsa flattened a number of car tires Thursday morning.
Troopers said the metal is part of an expansion joint on a bridge just south of 66th Street North.
The OHP says at least 15 vehicles had pulled off onto the shoulder because of flat tires.
Troopers advise drivers headed south on Highway 75 to use the inside lane just south of 66th Street North.
ODOT workers are on scene and working to fix the problem.
