Thousands of people are without electricity as severe weather stormed through much of northeastern Oklahoma.

Thousands of people are without electricity as severe weather stormed through much of northeastern Oklahoma.

According to PSO, just under 2,500 people in Osage County were without power, along with 31,000 in Tulsa County, 230 in Rogers County and 2,200 in Wagoner County.

The weather also brought down several trees and power lines which contributed to the power outages.

Crews blocked both lanes of Yale between 31st and 41st due to five different downed poles.

Crews said they're assessing all the damage and working around the clock to get power back up.
