Masked Man With Shotgun Robs East Tulsa Walgreens

Tulsa Police say a man robbed an east Tulsa Walgreens Pharmacy at gunpoint Saturday morning. It happened around 5 a.m. at 11332 East 31st Street.

"The information that we had is that a black male entered the Walgreens here with a shotgun," Sergeant Jillian Phippen said. "He came in with his face covered and demanded money from the employees there."

The man left with an undisclosed amount of money, heading southbound on foot.

Phippen said the man was wearing a red bandana over his face, a black hoodie and jeans.

Police searched the area with a K9 officer and in patrol cars but hadn't found the thief.

"It's unknown if he actually did get into a vehicle and leave the scene, so right now we're just still gathering information," Phippen said.
