Tulsa Police: Driver Bails From Moving Car At End Of Chase

Police are looking for a driver who jumped out of a moving car at the end of a chase early Thursday. 

Officers said they attempted to pull over a car for a broken tail light near Skelly Drive and Lewis just before 1 a.m. when the driver took off.

About a mile after the chase began, police said the driver jumped out, but the car continued on hitting a tree near 54th and Lewis.

Officers said the driver, who may have been a woman climbed a fence and ran into a nearby apartment complex. They said officers lost the driver after a short foot chase inside the complex.
