The ORU men's basketball team (18-14) will host UC Santa Barbara (19-13) of the Big West Conference on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the first round of the College Basketball Invitational (CBI).
This year will be the fourth time in five years that the Golden Eagles have earned the postseason spot, but it will be the team's first time facing UCSB. Oral Roberts is currently 7-5 against Big West teams.
If the Golden Eagles beat the Gauchos it will be the team's third postseason win since the 2013 season. A victory will also give ORU its 12th home win of the year, while a loss will finish the team at 18-15 overall.

The Gauchos average 67.8 points per game, shooting 43.8 percent from the field, 37.1 percent from behind the arc, and 74 percent from the free throw line. The team pulls down an average of 34.3 rebounds, and compiles about 15.3 assists.
UCSB postseason history
UCSB's appearance in the CBI will be the 12th postseason appearance by the team since 1987. The team has made five NCAA Tournaments, five National Invitation Tournaments, and two College Basketball Invitaitonals.
