Police Arrest Tulsa Driver For DUI

Police en route to a Tulsa shooting call spotted a Ford Explorer speeding eastbound on Pine near Utica early Tuesday. 

Officers said when they turned around to stop the driver they noticed the SUV was weaving from lane to lane. After a short pursuit, police stopped the Explorer a few blocks away near Harvard.

Police said Demitrius Neal, 35, had blood shot eyes, a flushed face, unsteady on his feet and smelled of alcohol.

Neal was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of DUI, having no drivers license, driving left of center, improper right hand turn, speeding, and disobeying a red signal light.

Jail records show Demitrius Neal has a court appearance set for March 19.
