A Tulsa man pleaded guilty to kidnapping a small child during a carjacking last year. Ross David Harjo was sentenced in Tulsa County court Friday.
Prosecutors say he stole a car as a mother was filling it up at a gas station in north Tulsa on September 10, 2014. Her 1-year-old son was in the back of the vehicle.
That child, Allize, was found walking in the street about five miles away. He was afraid but not hurt, police say.

Police captured Harjo along the Osage Prairie Trail, and say he had some items on him that had been taken from the woman's car.
Harjo, 18, was convicted of kidnapping, child neglect, second degree robbery and concealing stolen property.
On each count, he was sentenced to 11 years in prison with the first five years in custody and the remaining six suspended. He will get credit for time served. The sentences will run concurrently.
