Tulsa Agility Dog Trials Held This Weekend At The Fairgrounds

If you've ever been interested in agility training for your dog - or you're just a dog lover - the Tulsa Fairgrounds is the place to be this weekend.

The AKC Winter Agility trials are underway now at the Mustang Arena, 4101 East 21st Street. That's in the Heavy Duty building.

In the agility trial ring, dogs aren't judged by how they look but by how they complete a series of obstacles like climbing, jumping and maneuvering through a course. 

Dogs and their handlers work as a team to meet a series of challenges.

There's no cost to go watch the pups get put through their paces. The Tulsa Dog Training Club says the event runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with two rings running.
