Police Arrest Man In Hit-And-Run Wreck Near Tulsa Hills Shopping Center

Tulsa Police arrested a man they say tried to run from a wreck early Saturday morning near the Tulsa Hills Shopping Center.

Johnny H. O'Bryan, 54, was booked into Tulsa County Jail on complaints of hit and run, no insurance and no driver's license.

Police say he was involved in a crash at 7100 South Olympia Avenue then got out of his vehicle and ran westbound along U.S. Highway 75. The police helicopter helped ground officers find him, and he was arrested without incident.

O'Bryan was checked out at the hospital then released to the jail. The people in the other car weren't hurt, records show.
