For the first time in nearly a month, the Tulsa Oilers will return to the ice at the BOK Center this weekend for a set of three games in three days as they continue to push for a spot in the ECHL Playoffs.

The Oilers begin the home stand on Friday night at 7:35 p.m. against the rival Wichita Thunder in the tenth meeting of the season in the StoneWolf Casino Cup Series. Saturday, the Oilers face off against the Brampton Beast on Budweiser Military Night presented by Oklahoma National Guard and benefiting the Folds of Honor Foundation. As a tribute to veterans of the armed forces and all those who currently serve to defend freedom, the Oilers will wear special patriotic jerseys. After the game, the jerseys will be auctioned off at the ONEOK Club with proceeds going to support the mission of Folds of Honor.

?Founded in 2007 by Major Dan Rooney of the Oklahoma Air National Guard, Folds of Honor provides scholarships and assistance to spouses and children of those killed or wounded in service to the United States. In the last eight years, Folds of Honor has awarded more than 7,500 scholarships and the Oilers are proud to partner with Folds of Honor for a third consecutive season.

Individuals or local business that would like to provide free tickets for veterans' organizations or military charities are invited to participate in the Oilers' “Seats for Soldiers” campaign. Donations will help military personnel and their families attend the game at no cost and more information is available by calling the Oilers' office at 918-632-PUCK (7825).

The Oilers wrap up the weekend and complete their season series with the Beast at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday. For the final time this season, the Oiler will put on their alternate pinstripe jerseys and all fans are invited down to the ice surface for one last post-game skate with the players.

Tulsa posted a 6-2-0 record on its recent eight-game road trip and sits three points out of the final Central Division playoff spot with a total of 15 games remaining in the regular season.
