Convenience store employees helped Tulsa Police track a man suspected of armed robbery Saturday night in Tulsa. It happened around 5:30 p.m. at the Allstop Convenience Store, 2533 East Independence Street.

Tulsa police say officers were called to the store and learned a man wearing a black mask had robbed employees at gunpoint. Store employees chased him after the robbery, according to a news release.

Tulsa police including a K9 officer tracked the suspect through an industrial area southwest of Lewis and Dawson Road. They found 20-year-old Myles Nixon and took him into custody.

Police say they recovered a significant amount of money taken from the store and a handgun that had been reported stolen in New York.

Nixon was booked for armed robbery, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony and possession of stolen property.
