Tulsa Drillers, Tulsa Roughnecks Host ONEOK Fan Fest

The Tulsa Drillers and Tulsa Roughnecks are set to host the ONEOK Field Fan Fest this Saturday. The two team's annual event is scheduled to run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in downtown Tulsa, and is free to all who attend.

All Fans will have a chance to purchase tickets to watch the Drillers, Roughnecks, and/or the OU-OSU bedlam game that will be played at ONEOK.

Visitors will also be able to purchase tickets for the Drillers Fireworks Shows, as well as Thirsty Thursday tickets for both teams. Anyone who is a season ticket holder of either team may pick up their 2015 packages, while non-season ticket holders will be allowed to buy packages.

The Roughnecks' players and coaches will arrive to the event at 11:00 a.m. to do a meet and greet with fans, where they will take pictures and sign autographs.

The fan fest will also include: free food and drink with ticket purchases, speed pitch, bounce house for kids, new apparel and merchandise for Drillers and Roughnecks, on-field soccer activities (weather permitting), behind the scenes field tours, open batting cages (10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.), and a chance to register for the Big League Giveaway.

Fans that can't make the gathering will be allowed to purchase tickets at 10:00 a.m. on the Drillers or Roughnecks website, or by calling (918) 744-5901.

The Drillers released its new promotional schedule on Thursday. This season's calendar will feature 20 fireworks shows, the most in Drillers history. The team will also have giveaways and promotions, including: Hornsby Build-A-Bears on April 11th, Drillers and Dodgers shirts on May 9th, Mickey Mantle Day on June 13th, Drillers and Dodgers jerseys on June 18th, Tommy Lasorda gnomes on July 18 and Sammy Sosa jerseys on August 20th.

Fireworks will shoot-off after all Friday night home games this season, as well as some Saturday night games. The first fireworks show will take place on Friday, April 10, shortly after the game against the San Antonio Missions. 

Roughnecks Update

The Roughnecks are scheduled to travel to Bartlesville on Saturday night to take on Oklahoma Wesleyan in a scrimmage. After that, the team will matchup against the University of Tulsa on Wednesday, March 11, at Hurricane Stadium.
