Police Look For Buick LeSabre Tied To Murder Of Tulsa Man

Kansas Police are looking for a car that may have been used in the murder of a Tulsa man whose body was found in Kansas.

Kansas Police are looking for a car that may have been used in the murder of a Tulsa man. Tulsa Homicide Sergeant Dave Walker said police have reason to believe the vehicle has been sold to a private citizen, salvaged or traded in.

Authorities believe the car may have been in the Tulsa or Owasso area recently, and they want anyone with information about it to contact them.

The car is described as a green 2000 Buick LeSabre with VIN 1G4HP54K2Y4121927. When last seen it had an Oklahoma tag: 391 FLR.

Sedgwick County Kansas Sheriff's Office detectives are looking for the car in the death of Tulsan Dale Childress. Childress, 56, died from a gunshot wound. His body was found on a county road near Park City, Kansas on February 15, 2015.

He was wanted in connection to a double shooting that took place in Tulsa last year.
