Washington County prosecutors will seek the death penalty for a Bartlesville man charged with killing his wife and her son in September 2014.

On Friday, the district attorney's office filed a “bill of particulars" against Steven Adair, 35.

Adair is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count each of kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon and attempted first-degree arson .

Bartlesville Police said they were called to the Adairs' home on September 3, 2014 about a possible stabbing. Officers found Adair's stepson, Charles Edward Lee, 23, dead in the front yard and his wife, Crystal Sue Adair, dead inside the home. His 15-year-old stepdaughter was also stabbed but ran next door and a neighbor called 911.
