For the second time this week, about 90 flights in and out of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport were canceled because of sleet and snow in the Dallas area.

Several American Airlines flights between Tulsa and DFW were affected. Tulsa International Airport reported several cancellations Wednesday morning. TIA also showed several Southwest Airlines flights delayed between the two cities.

DFW airport maintenance crews on Wednesday treated runways, taxiways and all roadways in anticipation of several inches of snow.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory until midday Wednesday for North Texas, predicting up to 5 inches of snow.

An ice storm earlier this week canceled led to more than 1,000 flights canceled at DFW airport and Love Field.
