The price of a gallon of gasoline in the Tulsa area is just a cent under $2 at many stations.

The price at many stations across northeastern Oklahoma jumped as much as 14 cents overnight. For the past two weeks, the price has been creeping upward and early Monday, a number of QuikTrips began selling gasoline at $1.99 a gallon. A few stations were still at $1.89.

According to AAA-Oklahoma, the average price of gasoline in Oklahoma is right at $2, which is still one of the lowest across the nation.
