Tulsa Police say a man attacked a woman and fired several shots during a domestic disturbance overnight Saturday. It took place in the 10800 block of East 15th Street at about 12:30 a.m.

The woman told officers she and her boyfriend were arguing and he started choking her, according to Sergeant Chris Moudy of the Tulsa Police Department.

The man reportedly then pulled out a pistol and fired four shots in her direction. Police say she ran from the house, and he hit her over the head with a bottle.

No one was wounded in the shooting. EMSA medics treated the woman for head trauma.

The woman's sister was also in the home with her children. They escaped unharmed before he fired the gun, Moudy said.

Authorities searched for the man, using the police helicopter, but were not able to find him. They have not released any additional information about the woman's alleged attacker at this time.
