One Dead, One In Custody In Fatal Antlers Shooting

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation arrested a Hugo teenager Friday on a murder complaint in connection to a deadly shooting that happened late Thursday in Antlers.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation arrested a Hugo teenager Friday on a murder complaint in connection to a deadly shooting that happened late Thursday in Antlers.

The OSBI says the shooting occurred in the 500 block of B Street in Antlers. The victim, Ronnie Long, 19, of Antlers was pronounced dead at the scene near Antlers High School. After a request by Antlers Police, OSBI agents began investigating and arrested 17-year-old Chase Covington.

Covington was booked into the Pushmataha County Jail.
