Tulsa County Sheriff's Office arrested two people for shoplifting and say one of them hurt an infant while trying to get away.
Deputies say Robert Doak and Gena Carter stole more than $3,000 of items around 9 p.m. Friday at Woodland Hills Mall.
Officers booked Carter and Doak on complaints of grand larceny and public intoxication.
Doak is also being held on a child abuse complaint, Carter on a child endangerment complaint. Authorities say Doak grabbed a 9-month-old baby by the head and throat then threw him in his truck when trying to get away from mall security officers.
The baby was taken to a hospital in fair condition.
