KMOD Morning Host Biggie Shay Dies At 40

KMOD reports that one of the hosts of The Big Mad Morning Show has died. Shay "Biggie" Adams died Friday surrounded by family, the station reports.

Known as Biggie Shay, Adams had taken a leave of absence in November due to illness.

His radio partner, Corbin, said despite weeks of treatment, the morning show host died at age 40.

"I have lost my brother. I have lost my best friend. We have all lost a treasure," Corbin said on Facebook.

Originally from Florida, Shay lived in Tulsa with his wife and daughter, according to his social media profile.

The station plans a tribute on Monday. They tell News On 6 services are pending.
