Tulsa Public Schools is in the last round of interviews in the search for a new superintendent. One of the two finalists was interviewed Friday evening.
The board will interview the other finalist Saturday.
The two finalists are Dr. Deborah Gist, who currently serves as the Commissioner of Education for the Rhode Island Department of Education, and Mr. Millard House, who served as Deputy Superintendent for TPS, but has more recently served as Chief Operating Officer at Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools in North Carolina.

Both are graduates of TPS.
House Resume
Saturday, following the school board interviews, the finalists will also meet with a small group of community members, representatives from the teacher's union and principals.
Gist Resume
A spokesperson for the district said the school board is expected to vote to select the new superintendent at Monday's school board meeting and announce it later that evening.
Once a finalist is selected, the district will then enter into contract negotiations with that person.
