Sand Springs Police released surveillance video from the armed robbery of a convenience store Wednesday evening.

Police say a man entered the A&S Fuels convenience store in the 5500 block of South Highway 97 at about 7:35 p.m.  They said he pointed a small handgun at the store's clerk and demanded money from the cash register. After getting the money, police say the man ran out of the store and north on Highway 97.

Police said the white male is described as 5'8" to 5'10", 180 pounds, wearing tan boots, blue jeans, a black leather jacket, a black bandana with white skulls and a black leather head covering.

Officers believe the man got into a small car and left the area and said the store's clerk was not injured.
