Tulsa Man Arrested For Shooting Dog Walker

Tulsa Police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting in September, 2014, where a man out walking his dog was hit by a shotgun blast.

Tulsa Police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting in September, 2014. Gary Gordon Thompson, 55, was taken into custody while he was seated at a booth in a midtown Tulsa cafe.

He's accused of shooting a man who was out walking his dog in the 1100 block of South Quincy. Court documents say the victim knew Thompson, and they got into an argument.

The victim was critically injured when Thompson reportedly shot him in the head, torso and arm with a sawed -off shotgun.

He survived and identified Thompson as the shooter, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Thompson is being held on charges of shooting with intent to kill and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
