It is going to be a cold week across eastern Oklahoma according to News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone.
He says low temperatures will remain in place the entire week thanks to surges of arctic air expected to push into Oklahoma.
Crone says while the high Monday and Tuesday will be in the upper 30s, arctic fronts will arrive on Tuesday and Wednesday, causing temperatures to dip into the teens overnight. Combine those low temperatures with north winds of 10 to 20 mph and wind chills will be near zero or even lower Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
Crone says another front is expected to arrive Friday and precipitation with that system could include snowfall across the state on Saturday.
