Tulsa Teen Wins Title In USTA National Winter Championships

A talented Tulsan is celebrating the new year with a national championship.

William Genesen from Riverfield Academy claimed the Boys' 18 title at the United States Tennis Association National Winter Championships in Scottsdale, Arizona.

"It's amazing. I've had so much support and help from all the people down in Tulsa, and my coach Mattias. It's been amazing to train down there," the 17-year-old said. "A lot of kids have to go to Florida, and we have a great training center in Tulsa, so it's amazing."
