Global Robotics Competition Begins In Tulsa

Saturday is the first day of building for more than 800 Oklahoma high school students in an international robotics competition.

Saturday is the first day of building for more than 800 Oklahoma high school students in an international robotics competition.

The event was held at OSU Tulsa. It included a broadcast from NASA, along with the handout of each team's building kit.

The kits include motors, batteries, a control system and other components with limited instructions.

Each team will have only six weeks to build its robot from scratch.
