The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office arrested an intoxicated woman on Christmas after she stabbed her boyfriend following an hour-long argument, a report says.
Angela Dawn Moura, 43, of Glenpool, is in the county jail on a complaint of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and outstanding warrants for previous cases of methamphetamine possession and DUI.
According to the alleged victim, Moura assaulted him with a crowbar across his face first, so he left the residence for a while. When he came home, he said she was sitting in the living room, and he walked past and went into the kitchen, the report says.
The man claims Moura then walked up behind him, so he turned around. He told officers that she said she was going to kill him and stabbed him in the stomach with a knife.
The report says the knife was given to her by her son so she could protect herself from another man, her ex-husband who allegedly beat her recently. Moura's knife had a protective sheath and lanyard so she could wear it around her neck.
Deputies said that when they arrived, Moura was intoxicated, and when she spoke, it was incoherent.
Her 5-year-old son told deputies that his dad “elbowed” his mom, and then she stabbed him.
According to the report, Moura confessed to the stabbing. Deputies said her boyfriend's knife wound was about 2 inches long and 1.5 inches deep.
Court records show Moura previously was convicted of felony assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in 2005. She served a three-year deferred sentence in the case.
