Tulsa Police are still working to find out what happened, after a couple on a walk found a dead body.
The couple called police, then lead officers to a site not far from the railroad tracks near 36th and South Sheridan.
"When officers got back into the wooded area, they discovered what was a fairly decomposed body," said Sergeant Robert Rohloff, Tulsa Police.
While police say the remains are mostly skeletal now, they do think the bones are female. Officers say there just wasn't enough evidence to indicate what led to the person's death.
The Medical Examiner will determine that and - if possible - the person's identity.
