Two Tulsa-Area Theaters To Show 'The Interview' Despite Terrorist Threats

Circle Cinema in Tulsa and River Walk Movies in Jenks are two of only 200 theaters nationwide screening the movie after threats from alleged North Korean hackers, The Guardians of Peace.

Terrorist threats cannot stop Sony Pictures from releasing the movie, "The Interview." A comedy based on a plot to kill North Korean Dictator Kim Jong-Un.

The movie is now available online and in select theaters. Some of which are right here in Oklahoma.

Circle Cinema in Tulsa and River Walk Movies in Jenks are two of only 200 theaters nationwide screening the movie after threats from alleged North Korean hackers, The Guardians of Peace.

Who stated: “Remember the 11th of September 2001. We recommend you to keep yourself distant from the places at that time,” and “If your house is nearby, you'd better leave.”

According to RiverWalk's website, the theater located on the Jenks RiverWalk will have four screenings, the first at 1:30 p.m. Check The Circle Cinema's website for more information.
