Tuesday at Tulsa's Guthrie Green, parents got a break from their holiday shopping and kids got to make crafts, courtesy of the Tulsa Librarium.
The story time was co-hosted by the Tulsa City-County Library and Guthrie Green.
After the kids got to make fun crafts, the Tulsa library read some holiday favorites to them.
"Decided with Christmas coming, we wanted to do something fun with the kids, kind of give the parents a little break from their shopping. So we decided to do arts and crafts with story time," said Julia White with Guthrie Green.
At this time there are no plans for future children's activities at the Guthrie Green, but after Tuesday's success representatives for Guthrie Green said they will probably be adding more activities in the coming months.
