Collinsville Police arrested a suspect in a number of recent burglaries in the Owasso area early Wednesday.

They said the case began when a woman posted a photo of a pickup on the Owassoisms Facebook page claiming the driver had stolen items out of her vehicle while it was parked at the Owasso Walmart on December 13, 2014.

Police spotted the pickup at a Collinsville convenience store at 14th and Main at 4 a.m. and arrested the driver, identified as Shannon Bryant, 40.

Collinsville Police said the truck was reported stolen and they found burglary tools inside.

According to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, Bryant has a long criminal history with numerous burglary convictions out of Tulsa County.

Bryant was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints including possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of burglary tools.  Jail records list his bond at $16,850 with a court appearance set for December 26, 2014.
