Oklahoma native Garth Brooks took time out for a charity ball game while on tour in Arkansas, according to CBS-affiliate THV11 in Little Rock.

Brooks showed up Saturday for the Miracle League of Arkansas, a non-profit organization that gets people with disabilities involved in American's favorite pastime. The Miracle League has a special baseball field that is designed to accommodate kids in wheelchairs, walkers or with other special needs.

Anchor Dawn Scott said Brooks' appearance at the game was a treat and inspiration for the kids. The event was put on by Brooks' "Teammates" foundation.

The country superstar was performing in Arkansas for the first time in 23 years, according to THV 11. It's the first time Little Rock's Verizon Arena has seen a performer sell out for three consecutive nights.
