Police Arrest Three After Tulsa Cab Driver Robbed

Police arrested three men after they allegedly robbed a Tulsa cab driver early Wednesday. 

Officers were called to the 3200 block of South 79th East Avenue just before 2:30 a.m.  The cab driver told police he was called to the address to pick up a fare when the three men got into his car, robbed him of his cash and a cell phone before running away. 

As police were about ready to leave the scene, two officers spotted the trio walking outside a nearby hotel. After the cab driver identified them, all three were arrested. 

Tulsa Police said the driver was not injured. 

Officers took the trio to the Tulsa County jail where they expected to book them in on a strong armed robbery complaints.
