Deputies said Fletcher didn't appear to recognize the men, even though they had allowed Fletcher to live on their property.

According to the arrest report, Fletcher told the men he was going to call the police, then shot Kelley.

Records show Fletcher has lived on the property for about ten years and had pulled a gun in confusion before.

Neighbors believe the shooting was a tragic accident.
