Man Hit, Killed Trying To Catch Tulsa Bus

Tulsa Police Sergeant Mark Mackenzie said the man was running alongside of the bus in the 3100 block of South Harvard Avenue when he was hit and killed.

Mackenzie said they believe he was trying to catch up to the bus.

Officers aren't sure if the man tripped, but said he fell to the ground and his arm ended up trapped under the bus.

TPD said the man was identified as 69-year-old Jeffie Ray Booker.

Mackenzie said officers are still investigating and interviewing witnesses to get more information.
